Watch our webinar on-demand

NHS England recently advised that over 3 million A&E visits could have been better dealt with elsewhere in the NHS, and over 50% of appointments in Primary and Secondary care are not required to be face to face. Virtual Consultations are what service users would like for ease of access and convenience.

The challenges to date have been around security, ease of use and working with the national programs and integration into patient management systems. In our recent webinar, we focused on how the communications and collaboration technologies within Office 365 can power the digital transformation programs within the NHS. We shared some of the challenges and experiences of our customers across Primary and Secondary Care, as well as mental health, and showed how they are using Office 365, and in particular Skype for Business, to deliver better access to care.

Our guest speaker, Martin Hutchinson - Project Manager for the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Global Digital Exemplar Programme, shared his experiences of Skype for Business which the trust has used for a few years, and the associated challenges in delivering Virtual Consultations in a secure, easy to use way for both the clinicians and service users.
