The Modality Systems APAC team have had a busy, and highly successful, year as far as award ceremonies go! To cap off 2017, we add another two trophies to the burgeoning wall of fame in our flagship Sydney office.
As part of the recently formed Cloud Collective, a strategic alliance of three Microsoft Gold Partners and the first of its kind in Australia, Justin Morris, Australia Country Manager & VP APAC recently collected the much-coveted Microsoft Australia Partner Award for “A Cloud for Good”.
Announced during the Microsoft Partner Summit in Sydney (14-17 November), the Microsoft Australia Partner Awards programme honors Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the year.
The ‘A Cloud for Good’ award recognises Cloud Collective for creating and deploying a cutting-edge cloud technology solution for Mission Australia, a non-profit organisation, to help them be more efficient and effective at achieving their goals.
Commenting on the achievement, Mark Leigh, One Commercial Partner Director, Microsoft Australia said: “The Cloud Collective is a prime example of the expertise and innovation we see in our Microsoft partner community to deliver transformative solutions.”
And the success didn’t stop there. On 30 November, members of the APAC team attended the CRN Fast50 awards dinner at the Westin, Sydney where Modality Systems were ranked 23rd in the top Australian IT businesses.
This is the first year that Modality Systems has featured in the CRN Fast50 list, which recognises the fastest-growing companies in the Australian IT channel, based on year-on-year revenue growth.
This is a significant achievement for Modality Systems APAC and great recognition of the team's hard work in contributing to our 70% growth in a short space of time. Modality Systems placed higher in the list than any other Microsoft partner this year, further testament to our emphasis on enabling customers to embrace collaborative communications technology to facilitate business transformation.
Speaking at the awards dinner, Steven Kiernan, Editorial Director, CRN commented:
“Every year the CRN Fast50 gets more competitive. This year included a diverse mix of technology companies of all shapes and sizes, from all corners of Australia. We are celebrating tech firms that have developed their own intellectual property and those that have partnered with new and interesting vendors.
"I was extremely impressed by the focus on culture. In a sector where the battle for talent is ever-present, the CRN Fast50 have proved they can attract the best people to their teams to deliver outstanding results for customers.
"It was an incredible achievement by all of the companies that secured a place in the 2017 CRN Fast50."
Based on a solid three years since initially expanding operations into Australia in 2014, Modality Systems APAC has continued to grow through revenue targets and customer gains across Australia. This year has seen extensive investment in our APAC business operations, both in terms of employee headcount and in developing technological advances to enhance the way we help our customers to achieve advanced communication and collaboration.
Justin Morris, Modality Systems Australia Country Manager & VP APAC region concludes: “These are exciting times for Modality Systems in Australia and I am phenomenally proud of the team. I look forward to seeing where the future takes us.”
