Missed conversations…

Written by Modality Newsroom on 4, April 2016

There are few who would debate the fact that we are all busier now than we were in the past. The explosion of the internet and other technologies has given growth to new opportunities and set in place a massive transformation in the way we work. Long gone are the days of a paper based internal memo. In today’s fast moving, always on, ‘want it now’ world, presence empowered voice and instant messaging are fast becoming the communication currencies of choice.

However, having the functionality available to multi-task and react quickly is not always enough. We are still only human and in the course of our busy daily routines, with all the distractions and demands on our time, it is all too easy to miss an incoming instant message or call from a colleague, partner or even a customer.

Missing these though is one thing. Not knowing you have missed it is a very different problem which at best can be a mild inconvenience to the person trying to reach you, but at the other extreme it could have far greater ramifications to the individuals involved and even the organisation.

Have you ever missed an IM or call that you wished you hadn’t?

New_SuperToast_2.jpgThen SuperToast is your answer. SuperToast is a unique application designed by Modality Systems to alert Microsoft Lync & Skype for Business users of missed instant messages and calls.

For those that said yes, wouldn’t it be useful to have a simple way of being notified as soon as possible that you have missed an IM or call, so that it doesn’t go unnoticed for a prolonged period of time?

It is a simple application: if you receive an instant message that is not acknowledged within a certain timeframe or a call goes unanswered, SuperToast will notify you by displaying the missed item in a pop-up window. The notification remains on your screen until you either click it away or click on the missed IM message  to re-engage. Plus if you have more than one missed item, SuperToast will stack the conversations in the order they were missed. Any subsequent missed instant messages or calls are then added to the stack, providing you with a viewable list of all missed conversations. Once viewed, SuperToast will remove the relevant message from the notification list.

What makes SuperToast even better is that there is a single user version of the application that is freely available for download from our website – . So what are you waiting for?

There is also a multi-user, enterprise version of the application – SuperToast Pro – which offers additional customisation options for users and organisations, such as more notification settings, the ability to change the size and colour of the notification, flexibility to add your own branding and more.

But don’t just take my word for it. Download the single user version here and see what you’ve been missing.
